Leicester Publicist/Documentary maker looks for further Edinburgh locals/events for 2nd leg of filming for major multi-culturalism documentary, incorporated with Leics.
A Leicester voluntary PR Agency is looking for further Edinburgh locals/organisations and wannabe film buffs to help film/take part in an ambitious film documentary with Leics entitled, "Simon Shiekh: An Insider's Guide to PR-Like you've never seen before", looking at multi-culturalism between the two cities. Edinburgh was chosen because of the cross-cultural friendship between the Founder of the Group and a local Jazz Pianist/Music Teacher, spanning over the last 7 years.
Ayaz Sheikh, 35, who plays a dual-role in the film which was introduced exclusively in the city centre of Edinburgh recently said, "I have been amazed but am truly grateful for the support of Edinburgh folk, business leaders, local MPs and organisations. Now I'm hoping the success continues Leics wise. I'm looking for likewise people who are interested in multi-culturalism to help in the contrasts and similarities between the two cities."
Forthcoming filming activities as of Saturday 28th October:
- Arranging to include Leicester East MP-Keith Vaz, Leicester West MP & Secretary of State for Health, Patricia Hewitt, as well as Market Harborough MP-Edward Garnier, plus the other Leics MPS.
- Working towards introducing the Leics market town of Loughborough, as it has links with the formation of the name, "Simon Shiekh"
- Move towards the next anticipated trip to Edinburgh in mid-November or early December, of which Ayaz would like Leics locals to visit there with him for filming purposes and basic tourism, especially to those who have never been to Edinburgh before. Working in association with VisitScotland, it is also hoped that Edinburgh locals can visit Leics during the course of the coming year with the help of SSCOM GROUP.
"I believe what I set out to achieve on that Edinburgh week long trip has been successful, and should be the starting pistol for the best to come. However, can I experience the same tactics in Leics like I did in Edinburgh? Remains to be seen...", he added.
Anyone interested in joining as a volunteer to help film/take part in the film in Edinburgh come mid-November should either call: 07817 057078, log on to: www.sscom-group.com e-mail: info@sscom-group.com or write asap to: SSCOM GROUP, PO BOX 5091, LEICESTER, LE4 7XX
