Leics Voluntary PR agency's client: Edinburgh Guest House up for sale....for £1 million!
A Leics based voluntary PR agency, the SSCOM GROUP-(Simon Shiekh Communications Group)’s main accommodation base in Edinburgh (whilst continuing to film a documentary about multi-culturalism between the two cities) is now up for sale at £1 million.
The Relax Guest House, a family owned business led by local Gary Singh (who also deals in properties) is at least worth that amount, being a Victorian building (single house) from 1840. He is selling it as he wants to continue to concentrate on other business opportunities. As it’s also one of the Group’s clients, Founder/MD, Ayaz Sheikh was attracted in buying it, but has now decided to find someone from the Leics area who maybe interested instead, and will still class it as a client.
On the SSCOM GROUP’s latest trip between 8-11 December, Mr.Sheikh was informed of the news to sell, but is now looking for a married couple either currently in the guest house business or wanting to locate to Edinburgh to buy and run the establishment, or an investor interested in buying it and employing staff to run it. The guest house is currently being managed by Scot, Tommy Hughes who says it will be a major, worthwhile investment in the long run. “The benefits of owning and running this guest house will stem from the busy periods, particularly during the Six Nations Rugby Tournament, the world famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival from late July to the beginning of September, and not forgetting the Hogmanay (New Year’s Eve) period. It’s also located on a prime site of Edinburgh which has easy access to bus routes and less than 10 minutes walk into the City Centre”, said Tommy.
Ayaz added, “This is an opportunity not to be missed, and I'm interested in hearing from and meeting anyone to discuss further. I’m also next up for New Year’s Eve which will be filmed as unmissable and we can show prospective buyers the footage before it’s edited into the eventual release. We aim to fully support the possible buyers with free PR, and believe they will particularly benefit in the long run from the film documentary, which is currently featuring the guest house. It would also be sad to sever contact with the establishment & the new owners, as I feel like home when I stay there”.
