Exclusive Hogmanay filming earmarked as Voluntary PR agency for Leics & Edinburgh attempts to forge forward, to make up for lost time! Race against time to help complete on-going film project, whilst Leicester Caribbean Carnival & Edinburgh Mela replaced by forthcoming, major event, in dramatic move.
A Leicester Voluntary PR Agency, the SSCOM GROUP, incorporating Edinburgh, by working on an on-going film documentary looking at multi-culturalism & the contrasts and similarities between the two cities is now trying to move forward in terms of continuing to film and aiming to complete asap. The film which was to incorporate the return of the Leicester Caribbean Carnival last August (and a second stint at the Edinburgh Mela last September), has sadly had to place less emphasis, due to circumstances beyond it’s control, resulting in the group being temporarily shut down since the end of July to the end of October. The filming was due to end on Hogmanay-(Edinburgh’s New Year’s Eve extravaganza), but will now go into 2008. “I was sad to miss out on filming the return of the Carnival (due to a death in the family) and a second stint at the Edinburgh Mela, as well as the fireworks spectacular, marking the end of the Edinburgh International Festival, but as Hogmanay is very much in our plans to film during my very first time on such a night, we have some big, big surprises to come”, added Ayaz. The group is also looking for Non-Executive Directors, both in Leics & Edinburgh to help advise and have full, exclusive access/benefits to the group. The group’s Leics based Non-Executive Director, Marcus Solanki said, “I have every faith in the group to create a new sensation, but am looking for new Non-Executive Directors interested in multi-culturalism to join me in advising them and hopefully, be part of something real exciting”.
