Meet Lyjanka Stafford-Correspondent No.1
SSCOM GROUP - Tell us about yourself.... Lyjanka - I am 27 years old, originally from Wales but now living in America. I'm also married and have a 15 year old step-daughter. SSCOM GROUP - What interests/hobbies do you have? Lyjanka - I love to travel, listen to music, socialise, walking, play about on my laptop and do kickboxing. SSCOM GROUP - What did you do for a living? Lyjanka - Over the last couple years I mainly did Pub and Retail work. But for 7 years prior to that, I was the Senior Information Officer for a Youth Information and Counselling Service. SSCOM GROUP - What do you get up to in your spare time? Lyjanka - Mainly housewife tasks. But I am usually surfing the internet or out walking. SSCOM GROUP - What/who inspires you? Lyjanka - My friends inspire me but I am inspired by anyone who has the will and energy to try new things and live life to the full. SSCOM GROUP - Why have you become a correspondent for SSCOM GROUP? Lyjanka - I have become a correspondent for SSCOM GROUP because I believe that it is important to have people involved that are outside of the initial work group. When people are immersed in an idea they can sometimes not see potential "danger" areas. Having outside correspondents also helps with any hierarchical conflicts as there is no bias between the correspondents and the inital work group. SSCOM GROUP - Are there any questions that you wish we'd have asked? Lyjanka - Yes: What are your hopes for the future? SSCOM GROUP - What’s the answer? Lyjanka - To get back to doing Youth work, maybe go into counselling again and to be a successful wife and mother.
