SSCOM GROUP - Tell us about yourself.... April - I am 19, originally from the Phillipines, having been in the UK (Leics) for 7 years, an optimistic individual who loves learning from others and working with others. I like seizing opportunities and working towards an aim, and having fun in the process! SSCOM GROUP - What interests/hobbies do you have? April - I enjoy travelling, attending live music events, photography, languages, meeting new people and learning about other cultures.
SSCOM GROUP - What do you do for a living? April - I’m currently an undergraduate at the University of Leicester studying Modern Languages with Management. SSCOM GROUP - What do you get up to in your spare time? April - When I’m not catching up or going out and about with friends, I indulge in a good book, or a good film. SSCOM GROUP - What made you join SSCOM GROUP? April - I appreciate what the group has done over the years, how it embraces diversity, and how it fuses community work and media together. I also can find myself engaging in this field of work in the future, regarding the media, events and promotions hence I think participating in this group would be a great and fun learning experience. SSCOM GROUP - What/who inspires you? April - Natalie Portman; I admire her talent and more importantly, the wealth of contributions she has done for many charitable organisations including PETA and Listen Campaign throughout her career. And my parents, of course!
