Join Marcus as an unpaid Non-Executive Director:
To support the Group, in both Leics and Edinburgh and would be ideal for anyone who would love the opportunity to provide advice and guidance, for an exciting project and unique experiment, looking at multi-culturalism between the two distinctive English & Scottish cities. They can be those who are:
• Senior Managers of their businesses & other organisations, i.e. Charities and Voluntary organisations
• Holding a Management position in their place of work
• Have a background in Charity/Community work-(preferred but not essential)
• Love Leicester/Edinburgh and been to/contemplating visiting Edinburgh/Leicester
• Interested in liaising with Counterpart Personnel in Edinburgh/Leicester.
• Can identify and provide volunteers for the group.
• Provide advice and guidance on achieving sponsorship, and help the group to apply for funding.
You would offer advice to the Leics based Senior Management Team of the Group/Promotions Team Leader, Deputy Promotions Team Leader/Promotions People, Lead-Film-maker and an “Apprentice” from Leics/Edinburgh, who would be staffing the project in both cities.
A commitment of a few hours a week/fortnight etc, would be appreciated & the opportunity to attend meetings with the Leics/Edinburgh staff/Senior Management of SSCOM GROUP in Leics, to discuss plans of action on the project. Minutes of these meetings would be forwarded by e-mail/post, whether you are present at the meeting or not.
You can also be involved in helping to organise an event in Leics billed as "The Matt Hampson Charity Dinner Evening!"-to take place at Leicester Tigers Rugby Stadium Corporate suites, planned for January/February 2009. In addition, in Edinburgh billed as "The Big One!"-a final filming glitzy charity event, to take place at Murrayfield Rugby Stadium Corporate suites, planned for February/March 2009.
We are also interested in hearing from Hotel Managers, Guest Houses, B & Bs, as we would be looking for establishments to "house" the attendees for the event at Leicester Tigers/Murrayfield.
This event is to help ending of a film documentary between Leics and Edinburgh-in style!
